YOUNG NSW
YOUNG NSW
We have been growing cherries as a family operation for five generations now, and are very passionate about the work we do. Without the help and dedication of our hard working seasonal workers this would not be possible.
We are unique in that we have two harvest seasons during a year. Our Cherry season, which runs from early November to late December is our busiest time. We then have a busy stone fruit season from Late January to early April where we harvest our plums and sugar plums. We have both farm and pack shed work available. There is also opportunity for some pruning during the winter months and casual work for the right applicants.
Any work completed with us will count toward a 417 working holiday second or third year visa. As we are in the “Plant and animal cultivation” section of specified work types, This includes Harvesting, Picking, Packing and pruning.
We are a family run Orchard specialising in growing cherries and stone fruit and we have positions available for our current cherry harvest season both picking and in the packing shed.
We would love for you to be part of our team and help in harvesting our fruit. Become a seasonal worker in Young NSW, the cherry capital of Australia. The Cherry and plum seasons are the backbone of our region and our seasonal workers are pivotal to this.
